Simon Godfrey

Managing Director

As Managing Director Simon oversees all Ecovision Asset Management activities and drives expansion into parallel markets and services.

He has in excess of 9 years experience working in the renewables industry, predominately in solar pv. This has been in various capacities from rooftop SPV origination, project management and sell side’ transactions, remedial works projects, buyer and seller due diligence, O&M contract negotiation, business re structuring.

He is an active member of the Solar Trade Association and participates in a number of working groups and is one of the original members of the newly formed rooftop asset management group who are writing the first best practice guide in this area.

Simon has previously worked as a policy analyst for the IPCC, in Finance and European logistics.

He has an MSC from the London School of Economics and a BSC(Hons) from the University of Liverpool.

Sarah Nichols

Head of Operation

Head of Operations Sarah is responsible for all areas that come under the operations function. These include customer care, engineering, legal administration, technical and systems development.

She has worked in the renewables industry for in excess of 8 years having gained experience in customer services, technical operations, sales, procurement, gaining and maintaining all necessary accreditations. This has been in various capacities from managing teams of sales and call centre staff through to technical and service engineers. Always with a focus on improving processes and efficiencies through innovation.

Sarah has a BA(hons) from the University of Bristol.

Caroline Sheldon

Head of Finance

Caroline is responsible for all areas of the Finance, Accounting and Company Secretarial functions across all Companies in the Ecovision Asset Management structure and for all entities under management for clients. This includes the facilitation and management of audits, systems development through to all reporting and interface with third party advisors.

Caroline has in excess of 30 years’ experience working in Financial Services, IT, Healthcare and Energy sectors. She has worked at Board Level for multiple groups and successfully managed accounting, budgeting, tax and compliance across 20 entities with a CAD $10bn turnover. Significant experience in global companies and international tax structures, spending 7 years in Luxembourg leading a major change programme to enhance performance management, reduce cost and improve stakeholder communication.

Caroline holds an MBA for Financial Specialists and Managers from the Manchester Business School.
