As Managing Director Simon oversees all Ecovision Asset Management activities and drives expansion into parallel markets and services.
He has extensive experience working in the renewables industry including solar, solar thermal, and air source heat pumps. This has been in various capacities from rooftop SPV origination, sales side transactions, remedial works, transactional due diligence, O&M contract negotiation, and business re-structuring.
Having worked with Ecovision since 2011, Simon has helped to navigate the business through significant industry change and sector growth. Since 2018, the focus has been predominantly on rooftop solar PV Operations and Maintenance and managing the many large customer portfolios created during the last decade.
He is an active member of the Solar Trade Association, participating in a number of working groups, and is one of the original members of the rooftop asset management group that wrote the best practice guide in this area.
Simon has previously worked as a policy analyst for the IPCC, in Finance and European logistics.
He has an MSC from the London School of Economics and a BSC(Hons) from the University of Liverpool.
As the business’s Sales Director, Chris oversees all Ecovision Asset Management customer acquisition activity and manages both public and private sector business development teams. Chris also heads up the marketing team who strive to raise the profile of the excellent work undertaken by the field and office operational teams.
He has been working in the renewable energy sector since 2017, with experience in both domestic and business energy supply, in addition to strong experience supporting large multi-site generators of the governments Feed-in Tariff scheme.
Having previously worked for the UK’s first renewable energy supplier (Ecotricity), Chris managed several sales and onboarding functions, including Domestic Energy, Large Business Direct, and Feed-in Tariff during his time there.
Chris actively engages with the solar trade association, Solar Energy UK, and participates in working groups including commercial rooftop solar and rooftop asset management.
Matt works part time at Ecovision supporting the management team with strategy development including the assessment and implementation of new business activities.
He has been working in renewable energy since 1998 and been involved in solar PV since 2002. Matt has extensive director level experience in the sector, having run a large solar farm O&M business, run operational and some commercial functions at a domestic battery storage manufacturer; and run one of the largest Feed-in Tariff payment businesses in the UK (providing subsidies to 136,000 rooftop solar installations).
More recently Matt has been providing advice to owners of ground mount solar farm and grid scale battery storage portfolios on their asset management and O&M delivery strategies.
He started working with Ecovision in 2021, initially as Interim Commercial Director before taking on the role of Strategy Director in 2022
Matt has a BEng (Mech) from the University of Technology, Sydney and an MBA from La Trobe University (Australia).
Head of Finance
As Head of Finance, Paige oversees all financial activities for both Ecovision Asset Management and our clients.
Paige joined Ecovision Asset Management in 2020 as a Finance Manager and has worked her way up to her current role. Paige works to ensure that Ecovision Asset Management continues on a strong financial path and that our customers’ portfolios run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Paige began her career as an apprentice at a large accountancy firm in 2010. She gained her MAAT status in 2013 and qualified as a certified accountant in 2018. Following this, Paige went on to become a senior accountant at the firm before joining our management team.
